Open Innovation: Where we have been and where we are going

On the 14th of November 2022 at the Amsterdam Hub, Luiss Business School is hosting the lecture entitled "Open Innovation: Where we have been and where we are going”. The key speaker of this event is Professor Henry Chesbrough, in the 2% of the top business Scholars in the world, and the very creator of the term “Open Innovation”. Almost 20 years after his first book "Open innovation”, which has profoundly challenged and changed the approach to innovation of small and large corporations, it is time for taking stock of the past and present results and exploring what the future might look like. Professor Henry Chesbrough will present the results of his ongoing study of the world of innovation and discuss with the audience the future perspectives. The event will include a Q&A session and will be followed by a cocktail. Executive International Week - Amsterdam Hub

From 17th to 20th of October, the first Executive International Week took place at the Luiss Business School Amsterdam Hub, in partnership with the global airline alliance SkyTeam. A great opportunity for our students to analyze in depth the aviation industry, understanding the complexity that this sector is facing due to post-COVID repercussions and its impact on global airlines strategies. During this intense experience, participants had the opportunity to visit the KLM Engineering and Maintenance headquarter in Schiphol Airport, taking part to debates about the aviation industry changes. At the conclusion of the event, students presented their Project Works about the business case launched by SkyTeam. The challenge addressed the phenomenon of alliances and consolidation in the air transport landscape, observing the evolution of SkyTeam in responding to different factors such as growing global competition, different regulations and market structure. 21/10/2022
