Advancing an interdisciplinary Perspective in IB and Strategy

Hosted by Luiss Business School, Rome, in collaboration with WU Vienna University of Economics and Business April 18-19, 2023 Research on International Business (IB) and Strategy is interconnected in many ways. Yet, both disciplines’ discussions can be quite separated and conceptual as well as methodological knowledge does not necessarily transcend disciplinary boundaries easily. To overcome this, we invite researchers to a joint paper development workshop at the intersection of IB and Strategy. The aim of this Paper Development Workshop is to create an interactive forum for both IB and strategy researchers. The workshop is designed to connect junior as well as senior scholars in both disciplines and to provide learning and development opportunities. We also encourage contributions from Organizational Behavior and Entrepreneurship as long as the contributions connect with current academic discussions in strategy and/or IB. The event is co-organized and by the Institute for International Business at WU (Chair Prof. Nell), where it is embedded in the Headquarters in Austria project (HiA), and Luiss Business School.
