The Graduation Day represents the conclusion of an intensive path in which students had to work hard and commit, which allowed students drive their personal and professional growth, explore their talents and passions to become change-makers.

On Monday, November 23rd will be held the conference: “Towards the 2015 Paris Climate Conference - COP21: comparing US, EU and China positions", organized by Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei in collaboration with the LUISS School of European Political Economy and Istituto Affari Internazionali.
The Conference aims to provide an analysis of emission reduction goals and, in general, of the positions of EU, China and the US on the key topics of the Paris Conference.
Many countries, both developed and developing, are already moving toward a more sustainable growth through the adoption of “intended nationally determined contributions” to the reduction of greenhouse gases emissions, the so-called INDCs. INDCs include mitigation and adaptation measures to be implemented starting from 2020.
The conference will focus on the commitments announced by these three powers in view of a future agreement which are ambitious but quite different, as will be the financial efforts for technology and know-how transfer.
Programme and registration
On November 9, 2015 the LUISS Business School will welcome all MBA students.
The MBA Welcome Day is dedicated to the students of the 25th full-time MBA edition.
The EQUIS accreditation of the School gives an international recognition to the MBA programme.
Graduates who choose to study at an EQUIS accredited school can be assured they are attending an institution with high international standards of quality, a significant level of internationalisation, a balance between high academic (scientific) quality and professional relevance and that the needs of the corporate world are well integrated into programmes, activities and processes. Finally, and most importantly, students can be assured that they will receive international recognition for their qualification, which is extremely important in today's global environment. The MBA welcome day will start at 3 pm with a greeting from Prof. Raffaele Oriani, MBA Director. The students will also be introduced to the MBA Administrative Staff, the Career Service and the class mentors. Information about lessons and the schedule will be handed out and the students will have the chance to ask questions.
The evening will end with the “MBA Welcome Dinner” where students will have the chance to mingle with the other students and the Staff. An excellent opportunity to start building strong relationships and get to know the School better. The Welcome Day will definitely be a day to remember for the students, as the day they started their journey towards success.

Lectio Magistralis: It is possible to manage an impossible project.
When we say “nothing’s impossible,” we usually mean that given unlimited time, unlimited resources, and really flexible performance standards, we can do anything.
In project management, the question is whether the project is operationally possible, able to be done within the envelope of our constraints. As project managers, we know the importance of realistic budgets, schedules, and performance criteria, but let’s face it — we don’t always get the final word. Sometimes we get what we get and have to make do…somehow. Worse, we don’t always know what we’re really going to need. You can’t always tell up front whether the project can actually be accomplished under the current circumstances. By the time we know, it may be too late.
Workshop Content
Based on Michael Dobson’s book Project: Impossible, part of the “Lessons from History” series, this workshop explores some of the most famous “impossible projects” in human history — things that nobody would have thought possible until they were actually accomplished. Following in the footsteps of great project managers such as Julius Caesar, Charles Lindbergh, Robert Moses, and others, you’ll get the inside scoop on how the most brilliant minds in history solved the most intractable problems in the history of project management.
You will undertake a range of practical exercises throughout the day enabling you to relate lessons back to your own projects and apply new learning to your own projects.
This interactive workshop incorporates principles from leading Project Management methodologies such as PMBoK® and PRINCE2®, but also demonstrates that successful Project Management does not need sophisticated tools.
Workshop fee: € 50 + VAT 22%

Current global economic and financial crisis impose upon Banks and financial intermediaries an increasing operational and allocative efficiency and a structured risk management, and at the same time also an increasing effectiveness on the side of the offer and customer relations. Supervisory Authority requests a greater attention on organisational models considering the existing links between organisational adequacy and sound and prudent management of banks and brokers .
LABORBANK is a LUISS Business School initiative that aims to contribute to the spread and consolidation - in the banking and financial sectors - of organisational skills as parts of the managerial culture and, at the same time, to stimulate innovation as a factor improving banks and financial intermediaries efficiency and management.
Within this framework, LABORBANK intend to be a context of analysis, discussion and exchange of experiences in order to identify, discuss and contribute to find innovative solutions to organisational problems currently most important and critical. Banks, banking groups and financial intermediaries are experiencing organisational issues, in markets and regulatory environment evolution, characterised by high uncertainty and instability.
